WP Exit · WordPress plugin
What does WordPress really cost you, and what does leaving it bring?
WP Exit is our free WordPress plugin. It reads your installation (plugins, themes, content types, fields, forms, redirects, hosting) and works out what your site costs today, what a move to Next.js costs and when it pays off. With one click you request a fixed-price offer. After you commission us, we collect your content through the plugin. Nothing is sent back and forth by email.

What the report shows you
Your inventory
Every plugin and theme with its version and update source, content types, fields, forms, redirects, page builders and hosting, read directly from your installation.
Costs today
Licences, hosting and the time maintenance takes, kept apart: payments in euros, effort in hours.
Costs after the move
What replaces each plugin: built in, a library, a service or nothing at all. Plus the fixed price for the migration.
Break-even, or an honest no
When the move pays off. And if it costs more than it saves, the report says so as additional cost, not as savings.
How it works
Install
In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP and activate it.
Analyse
Open “WP Exit” in the menu and click “Analyse now”. The inventory is taken locally, read-only. Nothing leaves your server yet.
Approve and see the costs
Approve the analysis. The approval lists exactly what is transferred. Only then does the technical structure go to app.decivo.de and the report comes back.
Request an offer
One click in the plugin. We check the report and send you a fixed-price offer.
Migrate
Once you commission us, you conclude the data processing agreement online and receive an activation code. You enter it in the plugin; we then read your content for a limited time, read-only, through a protected interface. You can end the access at any time.
What is transferred, and what is not
Only after your approval, and only the technical structure:
- Plugin and theme names with versions
- Content types and counts, field definitions
- Form definitions (fields, not entries)
- URL structure, redirects, SEO configuration
- Hosting environment and your website address
Never transferred during the analysis
- Texts, images, comments
- Form entries and user data
- Passwords, licence keys, API keys
Your content is only read during the migration, after the contract and your activation code. Details are in our privacy policy.
Where your site moves to
Same content, same look
Pages, posts, menus, media and redirects come over through the plugin. Your texts and your design stay.
No plugin subscriptions
What a plugin used to do is either built in or replaced by a service with a clear price. The offer lists it plugin by plugin.
No monthly update duty
Next.js has no plugin directory that needs patching every month. Outdated plugins are the most common way in on WordPress.
Download
WP Exit is not in the WordPress.org plugin directory yet. Until then you download the ZIP here.

Questions about WP Exit
- What does WP Exit cost?
- Nothing. The plugin, the analysis and the report are free. Only the migration costs money, if you commission us, at the fixed price from the offer.
- Does the plugin change my website?
- No. WP Exit only reads. It writes nothing but its own settings.
- When is data sent to decivo?
- Only when you approve the analysis or request an offer. Before that, the inventory stays on your server. The approval lists exactly what is transferred.
- Which data is transferred?
- Only the technical structure: plugin and theme names with versions, content types and counts, field and form definitions, URL structure, redirects, SEO configuration, hosting environment and your website address. No texts, images, comments, form entries, user data, passwords, licence keys or API keys.
- How does the migration work?
- After you commission us, you conclude the data processing agreement online and receive an activation code. With it you switch on migration mode in the plugin. We then read your content for a limited time and read-only through a token-protected interface. You can end the access in the plugin at any time.
- Do I need a contract for the migration?
- Yes, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, because we read your content. You conclude it online with one click and download it as a PDF. Nothing needs to be printed, signed or sent.
- Is the move always worth it?
- No. If a move costs more than it saves, the report shows it as additional cost. Sometimes it is still worth it because of maintenance effort and security; the report then says so without promising a break-even.
- Why isn't WP Exit on WordPress.org?
- It will be. Until it has gone through the review there, you download the ZIP here. The SHA-256 checksum is listed next to the download so you can verify the file.
- What happens when I uninstall the plugin?
- All settings and stored results are removed.
- What do I need?
- WordPress 6.4 or later and PHP 8.1 or later, plus an admin account to install plugins.
Would you rather talk first?
If you don't want to install a plugin, or your site runs on something other than WordPress: 15 minutes are enough to assess the move.
No commitment. We'll also tell you when the move isn't worth it.
