Fixed-Price Model

A fixed-price model means: defined scope, defined result, fixed price — agreed before the project starts. The risk of overruns sits with the provider, not the client. At decivo, every module has a fixed price, from the clickable prototype at €3,500 to the code prototype at €12,500. Whoever takes longer carries it — which disciplines both sides toward a clear scope.

The counter-model is the hourly rate — and it shifts the risk entirely to you: if things take longer, you pay more, and the provider has no structural incentive to finish fast. A fixed price reverses that. If the provider misjudges the effort, that is their problem.

Fixed prices only work with a precise scope. That is exactly their underrated side effect: the provider cannot afford to carry ambiguity into the project — they have to clarify before the start what gets built and what doesn't. This enforced clarity is often worth more to you than the price guarantee itself.

At decivo, every module is cut this way: Innovation Workshop (€7,500), Clickable Prototype (€3,500), and Code Prototype (€12,500) at fixed prices, the validation loops at a fixed sprint price. Before every step you know what it costs and what will be on the table at the end.
